This is a one-time $500 scholarship available only to CRHS graduating senior who is going into a health-related field.

March 15, 2026

Select female students from Citrus High School, Crystal River High School, Lecanto High School, and Withlacoochee Technical College will be awarded this one-time $1,000 scholarship.

Alexander Law Enforcement Legacy Scholarship

March 16, 2026

This scholarship is for graduating seniors planning to pursue a career in law enforcement that have been a Citrus County resident for at least one year. This is a one-time $500 scholarship.

Lilann T. Buffett Gilbert Memorial Scholarship

March 16, 2026

Applicant must be a Citrus County resident graduating from Crystal River High School and is planning/working toward a career in veterinary/health science.

Altrusa of Citrus County Impact Scholarship

March 20, 2026

This is a $500 scholarship for a student from each Citrus County public high school.

Antonio Hicks Memorial Scholarship

March 20, 2026

Available to students from Citrus High School. This is a one-time $1,500 scholarship.

Property Appraiser’s Office Scholarship

March 20, 2026

The Community Outreach Award is a one-time $500 scholarship is for graduating high school seniors from Citrus County. The student should demonstrate community involvement and leadership and write an essay about community service and its role in the their personal growth.

Thelma DeLay and Nancy L. Dodge Memorial Scholarship

March 20, 2026

Available to students at Citrus High School, Crystal River High School, and Lecanto High School. This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship. Applicants  must submit a portfolio of  their original artwork.

Cavanaugh Scholarship

March 31, 2026

Available to students from Citrus, Crystal River, or Lecanto High School. Applicants must be attending Florida State University in the fall. This is a one-time scholarship of $1,000.

Kelly J Brown Memorial Scholarship

March 31, 2026

This is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship for a Crystal River High School graduating senior who has been a Citrus County resident of at least one year.

The application must include a transcript with the student's current GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Students should have taken academically rigorous courses and must have earned a least a 3.0 GPA. Evidence of involvement in community activities may help to document a student's leadership skills. Please read the scholarship application requirements for more details.

James & Clarine Kennedy Memorial Health Care Scholarship

April 3, 2026

The James & Clarine Kennedy Memorial Scholarship Committee will select a student who demonstrates fortitude and initiative in preparing for a future in health care. This $1,000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors in the Academy of Health Careers at Crystal River High School who are pursuing a career in health care or a health-care-related field.
