The Citrus County Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is independently audited on an annual basis. This ensures that any gift you leave for the students of Citrus County is used exactly as directed.
Our store provides the essential school supplies that are needed in the classroom to teachers for free. If you have school supplies you would like to donate, please contact us. Some items we need include glue sticks, markers, expo markers, highlighters, colored pencils, construction paper, printer paper, tissues, erasers, sticky notes, and rulers.
Special events for loved ones such as birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, etc. is another way to honor someone you care about with a donation in their name to help those in need. Just add a note to your donation to identify who you are recognizing and we will be happy to send a Thank You card for the contribution in their name.
The Citrus County Education Foundation will work with you and/or your estate planner to help set up a trust and or direct gift so that you can leave money for the school, program, or activities in our local schools that mean the most to you. And, unlike Collegiate gifting which typically is pooled in the millions, you know that every dollar you give on the local level will have a very real and very lasting impact on our community and the lives of students for generations to come.

The License for Learning Program is managed through the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles and provides a way for you contribute to the many wonderful programs of the Citrus County Education Foundation by purchasing a custom Education license plate for your vehicle.
Each Education Tag sold in Citrus County results in a $20 donation to the Foundation for local use. By choosing to renew and purchase an Education Tag, you can help the Foundation and show your confidence and support for the public education system in Citrus County. The next time your tag is up for renewal, give the gift of learning!
