Each year, CCEF provides every teacher and department in Citrus County public schools with an opportunity to apply for a $500 or $1,000 Mini-Grant. Mini-Grants give teachers the opportunity to enhance the classroom experience with supplemental tools and resources focusing on literacy, focusing on Literacy, STEM and Health & Wellness. This competitive grant program occurs every September, culminating in the Mini-Grant Awards Gala!
The Mini-Grant Awards Gala is an opportunity to showcase the grant recipients for that school year. Winning teachers, family members, administrators, and local dignitaries are invited to come and celebrate the new and innovative classroom projects that will be taking place during the school year.
Mini-Grants give teachers the opportunity to enhance the classroom experience with supplemental tools and resources focusing on increasing graduation rates, literacy, low-performing students and STEAM education.
